The foundation of all loc'd styles is the Retwist! I recommend retwisting your locs 4 to 8 weeks.
- Four Weeks—If you're going to retwist every four weeks, I recommend that you wash your hair within two weeks of your appointment.
- Six Weeks - This time frame actually allows time for new growth. It's the sweet spot for a fresh retwist. I still recommend washing your locs every two weeks.
- 8 Weeks - At
Styling your locs helps keep the retwist in longer. Get creative. As long as the style doesn't create tension, you can be as bold as you want!
The Two-Strand Twist is the most popular service! It is easy and the most versatile style we offer! Here are some tips for maintaining them!
- Style Them - Put them up or down, you can really have fun with them
- Wash Them - The cheat code with Two-Strands is that you can wash them and still have your style.
- Rubberbands - Don't pull them out, cut them out. You still want to protect your locs.
