THE LOC PARTY

The Loc Party is the biggest day party celebrating locs! At first glance, it mirrors the festive spirit of the classic block party that resonates in the inner-city and urban landscapes. Once a year, citizens of the same "block" come together for a HUGE party that stretches from one end of the street to the other. Amidst the revelry of games, melodies of hip-hop, reggae, R&B, dancing, and laughter, a deeper emergence of kinship and unity arises within the community. Just as the traditional block party unites neighbors, our vision is to weave the tapestry of the loc community in a similar way. Amidst our diverse origins and complex histories, we find common ground in our shared journey with locs, therefore bridging myriad paths into a harmonious unity. So, on October 19th, 2024 we bring The Loc Party to Cranes Roost Park! You're Invited!
